An ICON because...

Widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts in history, Simone Biles has won 37 Olympic and World Championship medals – 27 of them gold.

A three-time winner of the Laureus World Sports Award for Sportswoman of the Year, she has invented five new gymnastic skills, each of which is named after her: one on the balance beam, two on the vault and two on the floor.

Following a difficult Tokyo Olympics in 2021 – when she was hampered by “the twisties”, a mental block that affected her spatial awareness in mid-air – Simone has returned to competition stronger than ever, winning a record sixth all-around title at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
