Guinness World Records Programme Segment

Would you like a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title attempt to be a format point in your show? If you are producing a topical magazine, quiz or competition show, and a world record attempt would add a fun and formal element, then why not work with us to add a recurring format point?

How it works

  • We license you the Guinness World Records brand, along with our word marks and logo.

  • We work with your researchers to find record titles and/or talent for your show, and support your team to ensure all of the conditions meet our guidelines.

  • Our adjudicator and exec attend filming. We will pre-approve props and other elements provided for the attempt. If a new record has been created, we will establish appropriate minimums to surpass for a title to be awarded.

  • If the record is broken, our adjudicator will make the formal announcement and present a certificate.

  • We can also present a medal if required. In addition, we can also license you clips of previous record attempts from our archive.

  • We will support the show through our socials and after the show goes out we will post the record attempt online. Often successful record breakers also make it into our world-renowned book.

Examples

We worked with BT Sport (UK) to provide an adjudicator for a series of record attempts on The Numbers Game. We also worked with Talpa Studios (Netherlands) to provide an adjudicator in their game show Ja of Nee.
