BLACKPINK star Rosé is smashing it in the US charts after releasing her debut solo album.

The 27-year-old – real name Roseanne Park – sparked a viral dance trend on TikTok with her infectious single “APT.” (featuring Bruno Mars).

And now, it’s officially record breaking.

The song has made Rosé the first female K-pop artist to enter the Billboard Radio Songs Top 10 after it climbed to No.10.

Radio Songs tracks US radio airplay across all genres and is one of the three components that make up the weekly Hot 100.

Interestingly, Rosé is the second member of the K-pop girlband to enter the Radio Songs chart.

She follows in the footsteps of her bandmate Jennie, who reached No.48 with her “One of the Girls” collab with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, who starred together in TV drama The Idol.

It’s Rihanna and Mariah Carey who are the undisputed queens of Billboard’s Radio Songs, having logged 13 and 11 No.1s, respectively, as of January 2025.

That’s not where the celebrations end for Rosé though.

Her debut solo album Rosie has also earned a record.

After debuting at No.3 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, it made Rosé the highest-charting female K-pop artist on the US albums chart.

Her album made its way into the Top 5 after racking up the equivalent of 102,000 album units.

As well as “APT.”, the album includes singles “Number One Girl” and “Toxic Till the End”.

Rosé has once made it to the No.1 spot on the Billboard 200 with BLACKPINK’s album Born Pink.

BLACKPINK have earned numerous Guinness World Records titles as a group and in their solo ventures.

The surge in his popularity is partly due to his song with Rosé as well as his duet "Die with a Smile" with Lady Gaga.
