Kids Show
It’s a well-known fact that kids love Guinness World Records and the idea of being best. For many of us, we have the memory of sitting down on Christmas Day with the annual to learn about all the new and incredible records.

The Format
Hosted by a young and dynamic presenter or presenters, the show mixes studio, location and archive to create a fast-paced and action packed half hour that engages and sparks the imagination of young people who are watching at home.
Records are attempts by kids in the studio or on VT played in to the studio. For the studio records, adjudicators are on site to watch carefully in person, and there’s also a VAR adjudicator who watches back the footage with us in slow-motion to ensure that the record has been broken correctly. This adds an extra level of jeopardy and tension for the audience and the contestant. When the record is broken, everyone celebrates together.
The records that are attempted are all inspirational to the audience and will encourage kids to get involved in new sports, hobbies or take an interest in something new. As well as showcasing the record attempts, we also incorporate fun facts and learning opportunities that all come from the records that we’re seeing on screen.
Examples
We have seen seven series of Officially Amazing being produced for CBBC. We have recently reversioned the show. There has also recently been a kids clip show, again for CBBC - Best in the World.
