A Hollywood star (you might have seen her in the acclaimed TV show American Horror Story and World's Smallest Woman: Meet Jyoti) and a Guinness World Records icon, the first things one notices about Jyoti are her charisma, larger-than-life personality and signature smile.
Born on 16 December 1993, her mother remembers that Jyoti was of average stature until the age of five.
Her height is due to a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia, and she will never grow beyond a certain height. In 2009, she was recognized as the shortest teenager living (female), standing at 61.95 cm (2 ft) tall.
In 2011, standing at 62.8 centimetres (2 ft 3⁄4 in), she was re-measured and announced as the shortest living woman.
Jyoti's record and talents have allowed her to travel the world, meet fellow record holders and pursue a flourishing acting career, becoming the shortest actress ever.
