Justin Garvanovic
Having co-founded The Roller Coaster Club of Great Britain in 1988, Justin went on to create the magazine First Drop for rollercoaster fans. In 1996, he founded The European Coaster Club. Justin has been involved in the designs for a number of rollercoasters and takes photographs of coasters for several parks and ride manufacturers.
Fastest rollercoaster
Formula Rossa – a 2.07-km-long (1.28-mi) rollercoaster at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, UAE – can accelerate up to 240 km/h (149.1 mph) and climb 52 m (170 ft) upwards in 4.9 sec. Seeking to emulate the experience of racing in a Formula One car, Formula Rossa accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in two seconds. It opened to the public on 4 November 2010.
