The Brief
GEMS Education wanted to honour the United Arab Emirates' (UAE) 46th National Day and celebrate The Year of Zayed.
The Solution
More than 4,000 school children came together in honor of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 46th National Day by setting a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Largest human image of a waving national flag.
Students from GEMS Cambridge International School in Abu Dhabi and GEMS United Indian School were all dressed in the colours of the UAE's national flag and helped create an image of it waving.
In total, 4,130 people took part in the record attempt to help celebrate the country's National Day, which commemorates the union of the seven emirates; Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.
Engage your community with a Guinness World Records attempt that will attract huge crowds and global attention. Visit our Business Solutions section or contact us to find out more about our unique engagement programmes.
"Today, after 46 years, the UAE is one of the most advanced and sought-after countries across the globe. By creating the world's largest human image of a waving national flag we wanted to pay a tribute to the UAE and the achievements of our visionary leaders."
