Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques

The Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM) was created in 1948 and today consists of 112 magic societies which represent over 80,000 magicians from more than 49 countries. Headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland, the board (International President Andrea Baioni and two Vice President Peter Din and Satoru Yamamoto) supervises the six Continental Championships of Magic and manage the general assembly to assign organization of the triannual FISM World Championship of Magic, at which the best 150 magicians in the world compete to become the FISM World Champion of Magic.

The most wins of the Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques (FISM) World Championship of Magic Grand Prix is three, by Fred Kaps, aka Abraham Pieter Adrianus Bongers (Netherlands), who took home the trophy in 1950 (Barcelona), 1955 (Amsterdam) and 1961 (Liège).
