Largest wooden trebuchet

The largest wood-framed trebuchet was Loup-de-Guerre ("War Wolf"), built on the orders of King Edward I of England during his 1304 campaign in Scotland. This siege engine is estimated to have measured as much as 90 m (295 ft) in height with its arm fully extended, and could launch a 120-kg (264-lb) projectile a distance of around 200 m (656 ft).
