Tallest mobile superhero cosplay costume (single person)

The Iron Man Hulkbuster designed and built by cosplayer Thomas DePetrillo (USA) of Extreme Costumes is the largest known cosplay outfit of a superhero that is fully mobile for one person. The gigantic suit stands at 8 feet tall, and has a shoulder width of 6 feet 4 inches with a total reach of 11 feet 6 inches between the hands. It also has a depth of 3 feet 8 inches, weighs 106 pounds and features 13 arc reactors. The costume was first unveiled at New York Comic Con in October 2015. The Hulkbuster armour was built and worn in the Marvel comics by Iron Man aka Tony Stark in a bid to combat his sometimes-rival the Hulk. The armour debuted on the big screen in the 2015 movie The Avengers: Age of Ultron and features in the 2016 videogame LEGO® Marvel's Avengers by Warner Bros.

By comparison, the tallest man of all time is Robert Wadlow (USA), who measured 8 feet 11.1 inches.

The suit took Thomas 1,600 hours to build across a period of two years. It takes 20 minutes to put on.

While there may have been larger superhero cosplay suits, none are known to be fully mobile.
