The largest bobbin lace measures 53.262 m² (573.3 ft²) and was created by Municipio De Vila Do Conde (Portugal), in Vila do Conde, Portugal, on 2 August 2015.
The enormous bobbin lace was woven by 'The Rendilheiras', the ladies who work with the bobbins and took over one year to complete. Since 1991, Vila do Conde has a Museum devoted to the bobbin lace, at the House of Vinhal.
