Most away goals scored in a football (soccer) English Premier League season by a club

The most goals scored in away matches during a single English Premier League season is 48 and was achieved by Liverpool during the 2013/14 season. Liverpool scored three goals in their final away game of the season on 5 May 2014 against Crystal Palace to overtake the previous record of 47 set by Manchester United in the 2001/02 season. They scored three or more goals in 10 of their 19 away games. However it was not enough to win the league title as the "Reds" finished in second place behind Manchester City.
